Single Riders

No longer happy with scraping the barrel with random youtubers reporting back what has been said on here, we now have random unverified comments in such videos being taken as realistic sources.

Could we give up on rumours of rumours please, if I want complete fiction, I would go back to Enid Blyton, for a little blast of something closer to reality.

They could replace the Oblivion test seat with the Wishing Chair, and riders have to wish that they lose enough weight to be able to ride it

Or replace Big Bob with the Faraway Tree, which would raise the height of the park's tree line - until it actually catches on fire for real

Actually, now that I think about it, maybe Enid Blyton would have been a better choice for a theme park than David Walliams (I'm not sure who would be more controversial)

The odd aside to the topic at hand is fine, but there’s now been multiple posts that are nothing to do with single rider. Back on topic please :)

Galactica's single rider queue is a bit of a mess, frankly. Assuming the SRQ is available (as it isn't always) it shares a queue line with fastrack as far as the merge point. In theory, the staff member on merge has to ask everyone in the FT/SRQ which queue line they're using - single riders are then sent to the front of the right station whilst FT users join the main queue, along with most RAP users. I've no idea how a FT user would have ended up down at the station, that shouldn't be possible and if they've had their FT ticket scanned then they've wasted it.

Going back to the combined FT/SRQ, this is clearly problematic as if the FT queue is long, single riders are forced to queue to join the SRQ. Even if there's no-one waiting in the FT queue, the SRQ experience on Galactica is not great at the moment, I also used it yesterday and found it moved very slowly as the batching host was able to send many of the odd-numbered groups to rows that had a seat broken, removing many possible single rider spots in the process. Ride operations seemed very slow on it too, hopefully we'll actually see it on 3 trains at some point as the throughput is currently dire.
It would make more sense to combine fastrack and RAP and have single with its own queue (and just put a fence at merge so you won’t have to wait there for the merge host.

Other rides share RAP and Fastrack so would make more sense.
