Sir Edward England ''Bashed''

^Technically, it could be considered to be battery, which is defined as 'the application of unlawful force'. Even so, I doubt that it'd be worth pursuing it in the courts.

It's bloody out of order behaviour, no matter what it officially classes as!

I don't know what to say, the split second look on Sir Englands face after contact says it all.

He says it is funny in defence on you tube, but the question is would he find it funny if it happened to him?

update/edit
Just added a reply to the video saying
The question is would the uploader like it if it happened to them???

The Guy is a trained actor and entertainer working in a theme park full of kids, of course he is going to laugh it off.

What are AT doing about it, its assault! Its illegal which means technically they could go to prison, but looking at them they look like they're not far off it anyway.

Whoah there Judge Judy! I doubt hitting someone with a blow-up toy qualifies as assault. It's certainly not a jailable offence, if it was, we'd have to turn the Isle of White into a prison to cope with the numbers! :p

:p Yea its probably not assault, but still as said above unacceptable,

They probably have worse offences to their name anyway..

I have not watched the video. However I would guess that in this type of job, rare occurrences of abuse are bound to happen. That's not to say it's right. It is never right for staff to have that from guests. However the general public can be vicious at times, and abuse can (and does) happen in pretty much every job you can think of that involves dealing with the public. It's just one of those cons of any job really.

Except in his "boat" the actors alwasy seem to have an escort everywhere which would seem to suggest that this has either happened before or been expected. Its the same act of ignorance that some people try to pass off as "entertainment", I would assume that there is a set route and that he is monitored by CCTV so those people should have been ejected from the park, although looking at the crowds gathering it would seem like home time for most any ways but thats not the point.

TBH it was probably not a great idea to flag towers up on the video, cause it will just end in the removal of a certain awesome entertainer.

Why would it?

He's getting hit, and remaining very professional... surely if anything he would get a pat on the back and a well done...

Yes, whilst the actor was remaining professional, the health and safety people will see it as their staff being at risk. And the easiest way to avoid the risk, is removal of the actor :(

I don't think we need to go too crazy here... Yes, they're idiots and yes that's a horrible antisocial thing to do, but the actor coped with it really well and it clearly didn't affect things in the slightest; I wouldn't be surprised if the actor had forgotten about it by the end of their shift...

By all means get that awful video down, but I don't think it needs to go any further than that!
