Whilst I'm sure the information would be helpful if true, any sort of information on your source or why you believe it to be down "for some time" (do you mean months, weeks, days?) would be appreciated when creating a topic like this. Otherwise people have no idea whether an assumption is simply being made, or if there is just standard maintenance or a minor breakdown going on :).
