Skyride has operated in mid-20 temperatures before I'm fairly sure, I've got a funny memory of the number 28 being a cutoff. Talking 20 years ago though and things might have changed on that; rides operated in the snow back then which would never happen now.
Either way, it'd seem very unwise to try and open it in borderline risky temperatures, even if they are forecast to stay the right side of that borderline. Seems a bit silly to communicate this as 'finishing touches' in my opinion, just say it'll open as soon as the hot weather goes away.
