‘Plans’. Thats all these ever are. It’s several years since the plans went in for the Thunderbolt style coaster. The permission has probably since expired.

I’ll be amazed if any of these things actually materialise. I live here and there’s not a single ride that would make me want to go in there.

I’d love to see some proper coasters here (by proper I mean not travelling funfair ones or kiddie ones) but I doubt it will ever happen.

The only RMC we’d ever see there is a Ronald McDonald Coaster.

Having not visited for quite a few years. What’s the story with the SBNO Pinfari Rocket onsite?

I know it valleyed a few years ago, and the ride model has had a history of minor incidents. Hence why after the one at Gullivers Warrington (which is were the Rocket came from) had an issue they'd eventually removed the model from all the Gullivers parks.

I actually quickly went and rode The Rocket in Southport the week after the same model up in Scotland had a similar issue.

I think it will reopen since my past visit they have add more theming around Rocket, including a model Stephanson Rocket. And a queue has formed around the steampunk themed area
