I don't think it was a bad idea, lots of the world's best theme park resorts have budget accomodation.This accommodation was completely unnecessary, especially when Splash is closed for half the year. Why not just, y'know, spend money on improving the resort's entertainment offerings - which has been badly needed for years - rather than adding on loads more rooms for no discernible reason whatsoever?
It's just shocking that Merlin have the balls to charge nearly £200 for said budget accomodation.
