Teenager jailed after putting PlayStation 4 through supermarket self-checkout as fruit

A teenager has been jailed in France after putting a PlayStation 4 through a supermarket self-checkout as fruit – and paying just £8 for it.

The 19-year-old, from Nice, weighed the machine on scales provided in the store’s fruit and veg section.

He then stuck the resulting price sticker on the console and paid the amount stated - €9.24 (£8.10).

Fair play for trying I suppose.

Crazy but Is the Cephalopod ok?

Joking aside, everyone's lucky he only took himself out on this occasion. Boils my **** to think you can be taken out by some selfish individuals but people are completely against AI driven cars. (maybe one for the pet hates thread :p!)

Reminds me of one of my favourite cop show voiceovers, Jamie Theakston doing a straightly delivered roundup of stories covered at the end "the man arrested for burglary later admitted to being a refrigerator and was detained under the mental health act"

Sorry to interrupt this discussion on faeces. I bring you a critical emergency at 36,000ft:

Jet2 plane bound for Tenerife forced to land at Manchester Airport - because 'there was no water for teas and coffees' on board

A holiday flight bound for Tenerife was forced to land at Manchester Airport - because there was no water for teas and coffees on board.

The Jet2 plane from Glasgow was over Cork in Ireland when the captain took the decision to divert due to a report of plumbing issues.

The jet packed with holidaymakers departed Glasgow Airport at 8.55am bound for the Canary Islands, but landed in Manchester a short time later, the Daily Record reported.
