The Alton Towers Music, Video and Other Multimedia Thread

Believe IMAscore also did CBeebies land hotel audio. Not that many would have heard of that as well as the enchanted village (cough Toverland).

You can also add on RCR video music, Scarefest towers street audio.

2015 fireworks they also did the pre show audio as well as the finale music.

I imagine for the big tracks like smiler and wicker man we will have a few tracks on the cd like the Thorpe Park cd.
 
Hi all. Been nearly a year but I thought I'd post another update on me AT music instrument sample findings progress.

Since my last post, I've made some new findings. A LOT of new findings. So much so I don't think I could jot them all down here, which is why I've been working on a spreadsheet that documents every sample finding I've made so far. It also includes findings for Thorpe Park, Chessington etc, as well as equipment listings of various Merlin composers.

Would very much like to know if this will be available to buy from the online AT shop. :):)

Was pretty gutted to find the shop wasn't open for the garden opening except the last weekend. Really hope they have the sense to put this online for people who can't get to AT.

(and a certain metallic Thirteen magnet which you can buy in the shop but not online)
 
Oh, that's great! I wasn't sure because although they do have a good range online, they are still missing a lot of items. I thought perhaps the CD may have been in Towers Trading only.

Well considering the current limited capacity at Towers I would be very surprised if they didn't sell it on the online shop. It will eventually be sold on IMAscore's online shop as well anyway.
 
Unrelated to my findings research, but I've recently found Charlie composer John Marsden's soundcloud, which has some of the music used for Charlie in high quality, including an unused track.

Boarding the Boat (Unused) - From the name, I'm guessing this was intended to be played in the interior boarding station.

Not going to link the video as the track is unreleased, but apparently the full Smiler track that will be on the Towers CD got leaked and an absolute numpty decided to publish it to YouTube. :mad:
Thankfully IMAscore have seen it and threatened action if they don't take it down. I can't believe someone would be stupid enough to do that. :confused:

To be fair, the full Smiler audio (and a few others) has been knocking around for years now. It's not a recent thing, and it would have been uploaded to YouTube (and then removed) several times in the past, I'm sure.
 
That leaked vid is the full 45 minute version of the outdoor queue soundtrack, which has never been publicly released.
 
It seems incredibly foolish to upload a soundtrack that, presumably, only a handful of people in the supply chain currently have access to.
