Well, I’m not quite sure what to make of this, but by some absolute miracle, I somehow managed to get 91/100 on a university assignment!
This was even in a module I really struggled with and I didn’t think I would do very well in, which makes it even more surprising…
I’m not entirely sure that I deserve this grade, and a small part of me is worried it’s a joke, with the real feedback hidden somewhere else, but I’m certainly very happy to have attained this grade (well above the threshold for a First)!

When I got my new PC in March, I realised to my annoyance that my printer - which I've had for over ten years and has never gone wrong - wouldn't work with Windows 11. Today, I finally got myself a replacement. It's sitting on my desk now, and it just looks right. One of the great benefits of it is that it has automatic double-sided printing, so no more having to manually do that stuff. Oh, and it's also got a built-in scanner & copier, so no more having to battle with my separate scanner (and swear at it profusely)! Best thing of all? Only cost me £65.

What was the big 50th, out of interest? Mine was The Big One at Blackpool Pleasure Beach!

Thanks, it was Saw - The Ride at Thorpe Park! It was a pretty good ride, expected it to be rougher, I’m happy for it to be my 50th. It’s also the first Gerstlauer Euro Fighter I’ve been on.Congratulations; I remember that being a big milestone for me!

The Big One would make a good 50th too, it’s one I’ve already done although that’s going back over ten years now.

Have a good time mate!Well folks, I've finally arrived at Towers and will be here for the next two days...hopefully I might bump into one of you there!![]()
Fingers crossed that both Wicker Man and Hex open for you tomorrow, although don't get your hopes up too much.

I only get round to Towers ever 4-5 years and I will enjoy it despite all the grumblings on here about the place. Plus with the being the last season of the 'old' Nemesis and possibly Duel finally kicking the bucket, couldn't have timed it better TBH to get some final rides.

Just back from Holfest 22.
Went to an aviation museum. A bike died so we got a genius to make a new one.
Went to a transport museum. Holland got abused by the staff.
Went to GYPB. Nearly made someone hurl.
Went to a heritage railway. It caught fire and someone crashed into a toilet.
Went to a castle. Nearly burnt it down.
10/10. Would do it again.

I went to the British GP at the weekend. Was camping for the first time in nearly nine years, and was a bit nervy, but there were no problems whatsoever. For starters, it was infinitely more enjoyable compared to the last time I went camping. Superb race, though Zhou's crash was terrifying to watch when we finally got to see the replays. Track walk afterwards was good fun as usual. Oh, and I managed to tick off a bucket list item and watch a Eurovision act perform. Yes, Sam Ryder was on stage after the race, and it was absolutely 100% worth waiting to see him. If you think he was good at ESC, then see him live. He's even better.
