My flash diffusers for my flash guns arrived today (it's photography stuff) so I'm happy I get to play around doing night photography over the next few weeks in preparation for Spain.
What kind of photography? Should let you know that I'm also a bit of a photographer - don't usually deal with flash guns or anything like that because I usually shoot football. I did once use a 550EX for a week and it's a brilliant piece of kit but too expensive to justify!
Trying to go for the 17-40L EF next - so incredibly expensive but such an amazing lens

I'll be in Salou and Barcelona. At the moment as I'm a student I generally cover all photography. Although with my university projects I've mainly created work photographing people. Animal photography and close-up photography are my specialisms though. Funny thing lenses are. My current one cost me £700! So worth it though, it's a macro lens and gets some great images! I'm hoping to upgrade my whole system to Canon soon (currently using Pentax with Tamron lenses) to a Canon 5D Mark II. At over £3000 for the system though it's not money I have right now.

After an agonising wait over three years, jumping through all sorts of hoops and whatnots, the NHS and Charing Cross Gender Identity Clinic have finally decided that yes, I have gender identity disorder and what's more, they will actually help me by prescribing me with all the drugs I need. Now begins a lifetime of injections and blood tests but at least I can now be on the right meds wihout buying them online

Yeah, once you start with a certain manufacturer its always hard to switch given the cost. I made the decision to go with Canon and I've built up quite a load of gear over time - my favourite lens is my Sigma 70-200 f/2.8, the AF is so fast and it's so sharp even wide open.
Good luck going for the 5D MkII - probably one of the best cameras around now for the kind of stuff you shoot, full frame as well not to mention the incredible video function.
