And our bodies ache too muchEh, I won't judge, I think we've all had that "GOTTA RUN!" phase.
We grow up eventually.

I really would have done that if I could, given that when we passed it after I was checked over colossus was walk on, but everyone I was with (myself included) had never been to Thorpe before so Hyperia was top priority for them.Yup, let the runners run, while you walk round all the other coasters with repeat walk ons for the first hour.
Blackpool, still, with Icon and the Big One.
Watch those queues from all the other coasters.
But at Thorpe it is even better, as there is less walking overall.
Also, I don't like them having shops in queue lines. Hyperia's queue would be faster if it weren't for people taking ages buying themselves a banquet.
That happened to me once in the Wicker Man queue, for ages it never moved up to the shop, I was about halfway up the back straight approaching the shop. Eventually when it moved, we walked all the way to the bit just before the merge point! All because someone or some people were buying the shop up!The queue might move at a faster pace in the area before the shop - but it wouldn’t get you on the ride any quicker if the shop wasn’t there.
The only way that would happen is if the queue line between the shop and the ride was completely empty meaning the ride couldn’t be loaded with guests because everyone was stuck behind the shop. Which to my knowledge never happens.
We and many others just walked past those waiting at the hyperia queue line last week!I really would have done that if I could, given that when we passed it after I was checked over colossus was walk on, but everyone I was with (myself included) had never been to Thorpe before so Hyperia was top priority for them.

"Ryan the Ride Mechanic" has posted many YouTube videos (expressly or otherwise) on this. More than you probably ever wanted to know...!I don't understand why rollercoasters go down so often throughout the day, given that they are inspected each morning
Ride Comparisons posted a Thorpe Park vlog yesterday, with a few interesting anecdotes:-
1) It is apparently at the discretion of the individual ride operators whether they wish to grant an additional ride to the final riders of the day, and if they see people arguing in the queue then they may decide not to grant them
2) Stealth's launch cable is apparently being replaced (earlier than expected), but this is apparently not the reason why Stealth is down; rather, the ride is down anyway and so Thorpe Park decided to use now as an opportunity to (prematurely) replace the cable as well (presumably to prevent having to cause more downtime later in the year when the cable finally wears out completely)
3) The app originally stated the incorrect reopening date for Stealth, before being updated to display the correct date of the 1st May
