The onboard audio for Blue Fire is great - when it works! Only half the trains are even equipped with speakers and among those that do it is usually broken (on one ride at New Year the music kept stopping and looping back to the start so it was all a bit of a farce!)
Can be good if it works reliably, but if it doesn't it's better to just not have it.

The top of the lift hill, maintenance platform and part of the drop has been delivered to the site ready to be built and installed in one huge section.
They've started to wire up parts of the coaster too
They've already installed a control panel on the bottom of the lift too
Anyway... it looks so pretty from across the lake
My favourite photo! Can't wait to come back here in the summer and watch the coaster go around.

What an insane looking beast! And it's only going to look even more crazy once it reaches the 236'ft mark.

Wasn't a young man's body sadly found in a car in Thorpe Parks car park a few weeks back? It's likely related. Very tragicAnyone got any idea about all the bunches of flowers on the car though?

The big crane is on site! Start the count down till Hyperia is complete.
That crane is gonna be EXPENSIVE!

I was surprised they didn't opt for a tower crane but maybe the whole site was too big for one and wasn't practical. I think the track will be complete in the next two weeks. The big crane is on site! Start the count down till Hyperia is complete.

Well looking at ticket prices it seems the end of April is when they’re aiming to have it openLooking good for an April opening....maybe.
We don’t want or need a recreation of a rushed RCT coaster without being fully tested or commissioned, just to get that important ££ #rollercoaster1 has *******Well looking at ticket prices it seems the end of April is when they’re aiming to have it open
I actually feel at this point we are looking early to mid May if all goes to plan. Track will be complete early march, lift hill chain and commissioning i think will be over 1-2 days. So testing could start on 1 train possibly mid March. Testing needs to be completed before being handed to Thorpe to allow operators and hosts to be trained and assessed,
They’ve not done any of the landscaping at the moment. It’s basically some track and a dirty pit underneathHave they even started building the queue?
As much as the coaster needs to be operating it also needs the infrastructure.

Not opening in April then is it
Who knows. Wouldn’t want to put a time frame on it. If they’re reducing ticket prices until end of April then it would indicate that’s when they’re aiming forNot opening in April then is it
