Great round, everybody! If you're wondering why the point totals were so high relative to the number of votes, it's because as I've said before, votes in the Bonus Round were worth double what they were worth in previous rounds.
Let's now move onto the results for the overall contest...
Overall Contest Results

Congratulations, winners; you will receive prizes from me via PM in due course!

For those interested, I can also reveal the Google Sheet I have been keeping throughout the contest, which shows people's exact vote distributions in each round:
So, that concludes the TowersStreet Speed Build Contest 2024/25! Thank you all so much for playing along; I hope you had fun! As always, there's been a brilliant standard of submissions maintained throughout, in my personal view, and this year, I feel like I pushed things particularly hard at times with the introduction of budget constraints. I felt that added an interesting dimension of additional difficulty!
If you have any feedback to give me on the contest, good or bad, it would be wholeheartedly appreciated. Don't hold back in this sense, either; if you think I've done a terrible job and need to improve things drastically, please tell me! I'd be particularly interested to hear how people found the addition of budget constraints for this year, given that I've never done that previously. If I'm being completely honest, I also noticed that engagement was pretty low at points this year; do I need to spice things up a bit?
I'm not currently going to commit to doing another contest in 2025/26, as due to my MSc finishing in September, I'm currently unsure what my work commitments will realistically look like come November. But let's be honest; I don't think I'll take an awful lot of convincing to hold another one if people are still interested! So if it gets to late October/early November and I haven't said anything, give me a nudge if you're interested in having another Speed Build Contest next closed season! Who knows... maybe I could even give Planet Coaster 2 a whirl next time?
That's all I need to say, really, so for now, I'll just thank you all for playing along once again! I hope you've all enjoyed yourselves, and congratulations to our winners! Now this thing is over, maybe it's about time I gave Planet Coaster 2 a more thorough play, particularly given they've recently revealed lots of updates...
