Transport help.

We're planning on going to the resort on thursday, only problem is we can't get there by car! We live in the Swadlincote area and would like to know. Apart from a taxi, is there any other way of reaching Alton Towers?

There are buses from Stoke and Uttoxeter railway stations.

There is also a local first bus (the 32A) which stops in Hanley (about 10 mins by bus from Stoke station) or outside Uttoxeter railway station.

There is no number 30 in uttoxeter anymore and towers transport has been cut right down so it's first or taxi

Yes every 2 hours with the earliest on a Sunday being around 10.30 am

Burton to Derby, then Derby to Uttoxeter then the 32A is the only route......
