So I’ll be there now just for the day, with a special VIP guest in tow.

Change of plan. We will now be stopping over. My guest demands only the finest accommodation, so we will be spending the night at Blackpool FC Hotel.
 
If anyone is needing tickets, £25 wristbands are available if you use code summer according to PB on Instagram.

Of course if you’ve got a EP pass you can also get it free this season.
 
Does anybody have the scoop on where to go with the EP pass to get a wristband and entry? Is it a case of joining the usually huge queue at the main entrance?

Hopefully the queue will be shorter now they are doing wristband delivery for prebooking.
 
Does anyone still need a wristband? I have one going spare in exchange for a pint or two at spoons?
 
I'm visiting this day - forgot to book my wristbands before the cut off for delivery :mad:.

How many on here will be using Speedy Pass?

The bar at BPB is usually Velvet Coaster nowadays. Better selection...

If you are planning on joining the group, many of us will have to collect our wrist bands at the park anyway due to having Europa Park Clubcards.

It’s highly unlikely that anyone in the main meet group will have speedy pass. We’ll probably do a few rides in the morning and then in the early afternoon the BRP* system will inevitably come into play!

*Beer, ride, piss, repeat!
 
BRP system...never heard that one before, but absolutely spot on.
I thought it was just the old man's club.
And at least the Beach has plenty of bars and loos.
With the weather forecast being very good, and it being a bank holiday weekend, and it being a late night fireworks event, the park us going to be rammed full, and even speedypass queues slow down.
Flying Machines and Derby Racer are always good after a few pints though!
 
I am planning on coming along. I have an FY post code, so if anyone hasn't pre-ordered wristbands I can get 4 at online prices on the day.

And the beer plan sounds good. But add in the Big One - want to hear the new soundtrack!
 
Sadly won't be in attendance for this meet up now, hope everyone has a great time and have a few drinks on me - looks like you may need it ha! ;)
