We've also made some changes on how we provide information for meets this year. The main change is that we're going to get forum topics and meetup pages on the main website live in the next week or so for all currently planned meets for 2015. This means you'll be able to RSVP to every meet for the season straight away, rather than wait for the topic/page to go live. This should make it much easier to plan accommodation and lift shares for those of you that don't drive.
Following feedback, we're also going to publish a meeting time and location for the start of each day of the meet, and also to publish a time and location for the group photo to be taken each day. Whilst we'll still keep the casual and informal nature of meets, we think publishing times for meeting up and for photos in advance should prevent people from missing out.
Finally, the individual pages for each meet will be fully updated afterwards. The RSVP list will be removed and in it's place will be a selection of pictures, videos and highlights from the meet. The aim will be to produce an archive of what went on at each meet for this and future seasons for members to look back on.
We'll need your help on this though. We'd like to see whatever pics, videos or memories you have from each meetup this year. You can either post your pictures on the relevant meetup topics after the meet, or you can send them to our dedicated e-mail address
. Myself and other team members will also be on the lookout and may badger those of you we have on Facebook for permission to use any images we spot on there after meets too
.
The pages are all but written, we're just needing to finalise a couple of things before we put them live in the next week or so. If anyone has any suggestions or feedback on what else they'd like to see though, please give me a shout!

I'd love to get to one of these this year.
I don't have any annual leave left but I should know fairly soon if my days off happen to fall on opening weekend.
I can get to AT easy enough, I just don't know how you do rooms and such...isn't the AT hotel kinda pricey?
I don't drive either (thinking of the Drayton Manor or South one) but I was planning to learn that this year too

Usually the official meet accommodation is in a cheapish hotel, usually a travelodge .
Don't worry about not being able to drive, someone may be able to give you a lift to/from the parks.
