Well, what a weekend!
Have had an absolutely amazing time and was really nice to have a weekend making the most of not just the resort, but also Alton village Saturday afternoon
A few highs and lows:
Highs:
- Seeing everyone again, having not seen most since Fireworks 2012!
- Waterpark fun on Saturday, despite it being rammed
- Spa this morning - much needed relaxation time!
- Lunch in Alton Village at a rather underrated pub with some amazing drawings of the Towers!
- Wander up onto the hills near Alton village to see what we could see of the park.
- SGR meal Saturday night
- The sosches in the bar on Friday & Saturday evenings
- Ian, Joel and me on the 10p machines in the ATH arcade (You shouldve seen the look on the poor woman in Subway's face when I paid her with the proceeds)
- Just being able to relax and not rush around for a change
- ....and other stuff I've forgotten
Low (but rather amusing after the initial shock/embarassment wore off!):
- My trainers falling apart and being written off during the horrendously muddy walk on Saturday afternoon, resulting in me having to wear flipflops from Cariba's shop for the rest of the weekend

I'm not sure how I'd be able to reiterate just how much fun and hilarity was had during the entire meet! I was so happy to be back with the group that, quite honestly, there are very little negatives to even write down.

I have no idea how I'm going to match Rowe's list of highlights - but I can give it a try
In no uncertain terms, this weekend has been one of my favourite ever meets from either TTF or here We did so many things we would not usually do, and I couldn't stop laughing for half the weekend either.
Highlights
+ I loved seeing everyone again - quite a few people I hadn't seen for more than a couple of months
+ The cozy drive to Towers from Lichfield in Astro's car
+ "Curtains need cleaning!"
+ The obligatory M&Ms
+ A pretty good meal in Shambo's on Friday evening
+ Meeting MiNigle
+ The 'spies' guarding the Emperor Suite
+ "Clean up on aisle three!"
+ "We are what we are"
+ Cariba Creek was good
+ All the racing around Alton
+ Josh's unfortunate drink purchase in The White Swan
+ Meal at the Blacksmiths pub was impressive
+ All the shouting and chair dragging on the pub noise meter

There are just SO many highlights from this weekend I wouldn't even know where to begin listing them and even now reading people's posts so many little things are coming back to me - it was so much fun, so lovely, and so many great memories.
Trying the Spa for the first time was the perfect relaxing end to the weekend, which just brought so many laughs and drunken antics and meeting nice new people and horses and rambles and ahhh
Thanks to Jordan for booking the room, Satch & Simon for the lift, Rowe and Dave for also being in the room and being lovely, and everyone else for making it a brilliant meet.
Making this official was definitely a good idea!

Thanks for a great weekend, guys. Apologies for not being overly social and appearing to mainly stick to my old, old friends... it's been a rough time of very recent late, and there were times when I was wondering if I should have stayed at home. D'oh.
Was a bit gutted to have missed out on the rambling (I had booked my day in the Spa for the Saturday, thinking everyone else would be doing similar!), would love to do things like that.

+first spa visit, golly is good!
+a good quality meal in SGR
+getting sozzled!
+the kissing
+the group singing in Margs
+sharbait beef
Negatives
- Dragon Bar 'its 11, get the hell out' attitude
- tiny menu in SGR (more starters than mains - wtf?!)
- hang.over.
- security standing over the group in Margs after the singing
- not bothering with the waterpark due to the number of people in there
