Universal Epic Universe - New Florida Theme Park

Yes it did, but its been closed for a few years.

I don't think Epcot has any outdoor actual attractions? There is now the Journey of Water thing and of course some shows are outdoors (like the Chinese circus performers) but overall although World Showcase is very outdoors in general I think all of the parks actual attractions are indoors.
Test Track closes if there's adverse weather, but you're right, Epcot is pretty much entirely undercover, as far as the rides are concerned.

Shows how long it is since I've been...

I really want Epic to succeed partly because I'm going there next year but other than the first "official" day when numbers were capped and everything was fully open, the response to what looks like some great rides and some of the best theming I've ever seen has really been blunted and tarnished a bit.

How busy do we think 4th of July will be for Epic?
Hard to tell because attendance is capped but rumours are that capacity is currently capped at 15-18k and will go to 22k on 1st July. Just looked on the app and tickets are still fully available for every day in July and August so they have not yet hit That cap. However there is an element of unknown due to multi day ticket guests who get 1 day of epic who do not book a specific date within their ticket window. so some days can be busier than others, but generally so far It’s averaging out fairly well across the week (surprisingly weekends and especially sat have been quieter)

typically the longest waits in June have been Battle of the Ministry and Mario kart (both have similar 130-150 min waits regularly), followed by Donky Kong and Hiccups wing Gliders Around 90 mins.

Monsters generally has the shortest waits often as low as 20 minutes. high capacity and less appeal to younger family members, wereas the most popular rides are more family friendly.

will be watching to see what happens with queue times and if there is a jump up on the capacity cap next week in anticipation of my Trip in August.

To be fair, I got everything done I could’ve wanted to, missing out on just Minecart Madness, Constellation Carousel, Dragon Racers Rally, Curse of the Werewolf, the various power up band things and meet and greets.

Albeit, it sound like a lot when I write it out, but I left more than satisfied, having time for breaks, food, the fireworks and fountain show.

I probably couldve knocked a few more of those out with single rider queues if I wasn’t too busy getting 8-9 re-rides on Monsters Unchained. Longest we waited ought to be 50-60 minutes, as we played our cards well going to Mariokart first thing with early park hours.

The Vegas tunnel was already a joke before Musk turned himself into a MAGA clown, Universal would be much better building a Bus Rapid Transit network than Teslas in a tunnel.

It’s weird because Universal have clearly thought a lot about public transport for USGB with rail and bike connections in addition to better road infrastructure. No gimmicky pod devices there…

For those not in the know about The Boring Company and the Vegas Loop, here’s an insightful video from about 4 years ago.
