This has been debunked as a troll site.
The only official website, registered and maintained by NBCUniversal is universalukproject.co.uk

If we’re referring to site updates, or even any website - just to help readers please could you link to the site you’re referring to. It helps to allow people to look at the content you’re referring to themselves :).

In terms of trademarks, I’d expect multiple trademarks to be submitted left right and centre in the coming months/years. Some will come to fruition, some might not even be used, others might be only used as a project name during construction and an actual name announced further down the line. If you take a look at the old Tussauds trademarks it’s a veritable graveyard of unused taglines, logos and ride names!

There’ll be plenty of people who will try their luck to make money out of this, so Universal will do everything possible to protect both their existing IP (hence Halloween Horror Nights being registered) and new ones, even if they are just potential options.

The site he was referring to is universalstudiosresort.co.uk (TEAM EDIT: is not an official site for the project. The only official site at present is https://universalukproject.co.uk)/

Thanks @Ludus. I’ve added this to the word filter to clarify if it’s posted. Not pretty but it gets the point across! Hopefully it’ll be taken down shortly as it’s just a direct copy of the official site with stuff chucked in by whoever made it to mislead people. Strange behaviour 🤣

They've seen how we do things in the UK.
All I could think of was mandrill mayhem on steroids. Interested to see the plans though as I guess the going up a spike and going backwards thing has been done to good effect at Disney on the Everest ride hasn’t it.

I’d prefer it to be connected like a top hat so launch up at 88mph then come back down and do the rest of the track rather than caning it around for half the ride backwards

That said is the forward-backwards-forwards launching a credible design choice? Seems to me it would cripple capacity
I’d like to think they would consider some way to keep capacity up in this, but I guess we shall see

Surely if this is BTTF themed as it seems, this is going to have dark ride scenes between launches so you know you've 'travelled back in time', so that's the perfect opportunity for having multiple trains on the track at all times.

I’d hope so.

Love to see the films in order.

Station and pre 1st launch - BTTF
2nd launch and dark scene - BTTF 2
Station return - BTTF 3

Imagine the merch sales!

The coaster train would have to be a literal tranformer to be accurate.
Start off with the lightning pole sticking out of the back, then eject it and have Mr Fusion pop up, while turning the wheels sideways, then flip the covering of the zero car to reveal all those lovely vacuum tubes, and somehow fit whitewall tyres, before ditching those for bare wheel hubs....

BTTF is up there with Star Trek and Ghostbusters when it comes to fandom prop-geekery. Rivet-counting is common. (I've not been to Movie Park Germany, but from pictures alone I can tell that 1701-D's Bridge is completely wrong in every way possible. ;) )

whats everyones thoughts on the height of this spike? I really hope it's higher then hyperia that would make me laugh, do you think it's going to ruin the immersion of other lands?
