*edit* Seems the works for habitat relocation has been going on for a while if you've followed @WanderingNortherner or Project Universal. There's several habitats they've built already and seems they're working on removing the Badger Sett next to the concrete slab as it looks like they've already installed the one-way gates and monitoring devices.

The "technology" used for Paddington Bear is no different to Chewbacca from Star Wars. An actor dons the suit, whilst another provides dialogue and operates the facial features using an RC remote.

The Guardian "exclusively" revealed Paddington's new design, and interviewed the primary actors, for an article over the weekend.

However, this isn’t just a movie prop that needs to work a few times; this thing is probably built to last quite a while longer. In that sense, I could see this as economical for a theme park.

The real problems would come in with finding a short enough actor willing to be Paddington for a long time, and also all the crew needed to operate him might make it a bit of a nightmare. But this is Universal, so who knows what they might do.

Unrelated, but do you think guest behaviour might be a factor worldwide operators notice between countries? I’m not saying the places a rid of it, but perhaps there would be far less vandalism in a place like Japan than there would be… here.

I'm sure Disney found that out the hard way in Paris.

Did notice in regards smoking at the Paris site and how people didn't obey the smoking areas (not sure of this has got better over the years, haven't been there for a while now). Whereas in Florida, people seem to stick to the smoking areas.

There’ll be loads of consultants involved in the planning process, and at least one will tell them to expect Cook Pass Babtridge regularly daubed on the Delorean.

Comcast are reportedly in talks to buy ITV. Cue a revival of Granada Studios. Perhaps @rob666 could finally get his ride on a revived Skytrak.

Inevitably* this means that Universal UK will have lands themed to The Chase, Tipping Point, I'm a Celebrity, Ibiza/Kavos Weekender and Britain's Got Talent.

Screw your Back to the Future Coaster, it's all about the Ken Barlow dark ride.

*Hypothetically, this means that Universal COULD have lands themed to...

I'd sooner ride Ken Barlow than queue again for skytrak.
Thirty years on nearly, and nearly over it.

Only park where I stood my ground, held firm at the admissions booth, insisted on a refund as I had been assured the damn thing "was certainly running today", and got a cash refund, off the admissions manager, so they could avoid the publicity from BBC Radio Lancashire.

**** "park" with **** "rides"...you could have more fun at Camelot.

And all completely off topic of course...

Considering Comcast are also in the running for Warner Bros Discovery at the moment, they really are making some big moves at the moment, especially Comcast themselves haven’t performed too well outside of their Universal Studios Parks.

Would be pretty funny if I’m a Celebrity makes its UK theme park return though, that is if it has an ounce of relevance by the 2030’s. Although I guess Mr Bean would be a pretty massive character for international audiences to have, as a walk-round character…

...and is the word c r a p really so offensive as to be censored?
Aye.. would you just think of all the nine year old children on Towersstreet.com reading your Skytrack rant and possibly learning such linguistic vulgarity?!

The pre-adolescents are just rife on the UK politics thread you know!
