Universal Orlando (Studios/IOA) : General Discussion

Nope, I selected Setember 2026, click on the link in my previous post and check for yourself. Undercover Tourist don't appear to currently offer tickets with more than one day at Epic Universe. Maybe that is a UK only thing right now?

Thanks - the Universal website allows them to be chosen so it may just be Undercover Tourist not updating their site properly as the options don't change despite the date changing - I will give them a call.

Either way it looks like it's going to be £400.00 at cheapest as if it's £350 for 3 days plus 1 day Epic Universe then the liklihood is its going to be £400.00 for 3 days with unlimited Epic.

Do you mean the Universal USA site, or the UK one?

If you can see the USA site then you could just buy there instead of using Undercover Tourist anyway.

But often the USA Universal site won't load from the UK.

assume it's the UK one as the prices are in £ - https://ukstore.universalorlando.com/park-tickets

If you go onto that site you will see you can change the year from 2025 to 2026 and when you do so it changes the options from the 3 park + 1 day epic tickets to just standard 4 park tickets with no restriction on how many times you can visit Epic.

actually when looked into it the price I have my April 2026 wasn’t correct and was defaulting to a day in 2025.

US tickets for 2026 have not yet been released from what I understand. They booked a lot latter than we do in the UK shouldn’t be much longer now. Generally though when you get to 4 days is a similar price or higher than the UK tickets.

Thanks all - I've always found Orlando park tickets to be un-necessarily confusing when organising, probably by design to get you to buy the 14 day passes!

The American tickets can be confusing, but remember they don't have access to the 14 day passes offered in the UK.

Because in the US they don't get as much annual leave and take shorter trips that is why there are more varieties of tickets for 1-4 days with and without park-to-park admission.

For the UK market they have tried to keep it simple with the 14 day ticket offer.

RIP Ride Rockit closes for good today. Last time I was at the park they were still building it, now before I've returned it is gone. A cred that will forever elude me.
It actually closed yesterday. Today’s the first day no longer open and entrance area already board up with construction walls. I had last ride on Friday- certainly won’t miss it, never been great and got worse over the years. Looking forward to the Intamin ride replacing it.

Construction on its replacement is well underway in the areas surrounding the ride.

We arrived at our Universal resort hotel on Tuesday and still here now. Done IOA today and just in our room now having a rest and awaiting the incoming storm. Going back for night rides in a few hours.

We were very surprised to see construction taking place on RRR so soon. We didn't get to ride it as we just missed its closing however I have ridden it before and it wasn't a personal favourite of mine anyway.

Absolutely loving being back at Universal after 12 years. I now have a new number 1 coaster guys. Velocicoaster has taken top spot after 3 rides on it so far. Going back to get a night ride tonight hopefully or tomorrow if necessary.

Hagrids may have sneaked into the top 10 as well. What an attraction that is. Absolutely blew me away. Did it twice this morning in early entry. First ride was less than 10 mins and second time only 30.

The back row on Velocicoaster at night is just fantastic, they normally let you request the backrow without issue as well.

Construction on rip ride rocket was well underway even while the ride was operating last week in the extended ride areas they are using for the new project.

I have been at AK today and heading to MK later for the fireworks.

Hope you day at Epic later this week goes well.

Those two coasters are absolutely awesome; as someone who revisited IOA after 7 years when I last went in 2023, I had both being new to me on the same visit, and getting that duo in one trip was awesome!

Are you headed to SeaWorld and Busch on this trip to do Iron Gwazi and the new coasters at SeaWorld? Iron Gwazi, Mako (although I’m not sure if Mako counts as “new” anymore) and Ice Breaker are brilliant, and even though I found Pipeline a bit underwhelming myself and wouldn’t have said I hugely rated it, it’s certainly still an interesting and unique experience.

Booked myself a solo trip for 5 nights in April.

I am a bit of a self-confessed Universal fanboy ever since my first trip in 1993 when I was blown away by Kongfrontation and Jaws, I couldn’t not do Epic in its first year of opening.

So excited to finally see it and I’ve managed to avoid spoilers for the dark rides other than Mario Kart which has obviously been around longer in Japan and LA.
