I'm currently studying TV Production Tech at Staffs Uni with hopes of someday becoming a senior floor manager.

I've been following this site and another very similar one beforehand ;) since I was about 11. I've finally decided to join as you all seem like a lovely bunch and I would love to be part of the discussions that go on.

So yeah. Please be nice to me :-[ :p

Hey guys new here but not new to alton towers, cant get enough of the place love the heritage and the rides

I'm James, from Matlock, Derbyshire.

I'm an avid rollercoaster fan - my first proper rollercoaster ride was in 2007 at Alton Towers and was (if I remember correctly) Air.

My ridecount isn't truly accurate as I'm only including rides since or just before I joined ridecount.

I have been to Alton Towers countless times, once to Thorpe Park, once to Europa Park, Germany, once to Chessington and once to Legoland Windsor.

I'm hoping to get my Merlin Pass later this year!

Afternoon,

My name is Jon, I'm 20 and an English student. I've been an on-and-off member of TowersTimes for a number of years but naturally all the excitement about The Smiler has drawn me from the woodwork.
