What are you listening to?

Gradually working my way through this. Nearly 13 hours of music, just about to make it to the third of twelve, 23 track discs (on Spotify). Truly genius music.

Same as Adam. I'm pretty impressed with it. Also, I do like how they've included the riff from the Stockholm Syndrome outro in this song. Bring on the new album in June!
 
I think I've listened to it enough times to get a decent opinion on it now. Obviously it's not the best song Muse have ever written- it doesn't really compare to many of the pre-Resistance songs- but it is a good song. Not great, but good. The thing is though, and more importantly, it's better than everything on the past two albums, save maybe Animals and certain parts of Exogenesis, which is a good success. Compare this song to Survival: it's absolutely leagues ahead. It's pretty much the best song I could have realistically hoped for; Muse have done well.
 
It sounds like it's off BH&R. It's not their best, it's got some awful lyrics, and all the drill sergeant stuff gets in the way outside the context of the album. But musically it's great, love the Marilyn Manson esque bits before the riff, the bass sounds epic and the riff itself is a banger, took them 16 years but it's great they've finally got a song for it. Better than almost everything off the last two albums. It's pure guilty pleasure cock rock but it's great. It's only a promo though so it's ok, hopefully the first proper single is better and less silly.

Most importantly though it's going to be fantastic live.
 
Probably should listen to the Muse song, being that I may catch them at Download but for now it is War Pigs by Black Sabbath
