What colour is this jumper?!

A Ferrari/blood red is my absolute favourite colour in the whole world. I had a car that colour once and have avoided since because it went pink.
That jumper is close to it, it must be said, but it's ultimately orange I'm afraid. It's not red enough. If it ends up not going slightly pink in the wash, it's orange.

Rob LOVES a dress tbfIt's like that dress that caught the internet by storm all over again!
First of all, I ticked the idiot button for correctness.
Incredibly, as a sad seventies student with brick/plank bookshelves, I painted the bricks in that very colour, and much debate was had on the red/orange colour...just like the jumper.
Sad book facts, the fruit came before the colour name, the colour used to be known simply as reddy yellow.
That jumper, sir, is reddy orange, no question.
It is not a pure red.
I should know, I read the book from the charity shop...
Red.
About 400 pages.
About the colour and it's history in civilisation.
Absolutely boring as shite...but I should have kept it for appropriate topic reference, sorry.
Orangey red, the old *** has spoken.

As I said last night...
Without knowing more details, it is impossible to confirm. What was the colour temperature of the ambient lighting? What were the white balance settings of the camera? Who made the camera's CCD? What's the image format? Is it HDR? What LUT did you reference? Any post-processing or filters applied?
With the tools I have at my fingertips at work right now, I could make that jumper any ****** colour you like.
Besides, its clearly orange.

I think one has to see it in person really to make a proper judgement and in natural light. Basically @Rob is obliged to wear this jumper to opening day meet. Even if it's 20 degrees (which it won't be).
I think you might also need to expand the voting options a bit. Maybe it's scarlet, or vermillion, or flame. Or something from the Dulux catalogue maybe: Firecracker, Blood Orange, Volcanic Splash, Spicy Paprika, Terracotta Army...

I had T shirts that could do that about 35 years ago.The world's first colour-changing jumper?![]()
Yeah, nothing like colour change t shirts for showing off your sweaty armpits...I had T shirts that could do that about 35 years ago.
Edit, my good lady informs me that it is orangey red, so there can be no argument.
