Why has the Labour Party struggled so much in recent UK elections?

Keir Starmer was the guest on Matt Force's Political Party podcast this week, he is not unimpressive, he had some substance and was quite honest at times, I think.

 
I think he needs to change tact a little bit and prove he can command the room - challenge the govt more and push for the change he wants
