It might just be having a few reliability hiccups at present. It might just be one of those things!

It is 12 years old with a first of it type drop mechanism. Faults developing are normal for a 12 year old machine. Unexpected issues will arise as they is no other mechanism of this type to gauge potential issue timeline from.

It’s having some major issues as of late, spending 90% of the day closed. It opens very late, and then very quickly closes again.

Happened on my last 2 visits not open for long periods of time and then opens for just a short period and closes again.
