But that room is probably three times the size of Wickerman's, it takes time to pass through.

This is effectively what I was suggesting. Of course the room isn't as big as this but I'm sure there's an easy way to do it.
 
I don't have a photo of me standing in it with today's paper so you'll have to take my word Did feel strange to be crammed into that tiny room but the sinks and urinals here still have signs on every other one saying do not use for social distancing. In terms of the pre show it was ran exactly how it did in the past.

I wasn't questioning it actually being back I was more shocked that they would possibly bring it back. Its a nice feature don't get me wrong, but it just slows the queue and just doesn't seem necessary. I'm all for it being run constantly while the queue is moving like has been suggested

So are the sinks and urinals back in the pre show room too and spinning around like that George Michael video?

Seriously though, I'm both surprised and delighted (even without the spinning urinals).
 
How strange that's is come back the day after we were discussing it. I'm glad it's back although I'm not sure how I'd feel being crammed in that room. I wonder why the decision was made to do it today. Do you think it's because the crowds are slightly lower? I don't see what difference it would make however it seems they were waiting until the end of the school summer holidays.

That's ironically a shame as a friend of mine went yesterday for his second-ever visit to Towers, and his first visit was only in May so he didn't get to experience the pre-show. Hopefully we'll be going in October so he should get to experience it for the first time. :)
 
Wicker Man really does seem to have some downtime issues' I do wonder why though. GCI's aren't known to be particularly unreliable. I do wonder If it's more the effects than the ride itself and they stop the ride to fix them. If that's the case I'd rather the just run the ride without them until they get a chance to fix them. If it is indeed the ride I hope they do get whatever I causing the problem sorted soon as it really shouldn't be having this much downtime, very strange indeed. There was rumours of Merlin adding more GCI's however I wouldn't be surprised if they have been cancelled due to the issue's they've been having with Wicker Man.
