After an extended absence, I'm delighted to announce the long-awaited return of the Mitch Hawker ElloCoaster Wooden Coaster Poll!
Unlike other coaster polls, this one actually makes an effort to be accurate by comparing how individual people rank coasters relative to each other, rather than just asking everyone for a top 10 (check the link below for a better explanation). The result is that rides more people have been on aren't artificially inflated up the rankings, the winner should be something that is universally regarded as being a great coaster.
The Mitch Hawker poll has been popular in previous years on here, so hopefully there will be a bunch of ballots from us this year too. The format has slightly changed, so we'll all have to start from scratch and create entirely new ballots, but for anyone familiar with how it works it shouldn't be too difficult.
You can find the ballot and detailed instructions at the following link:

I've still got the code to run my own version, so if there's enough interest I'll be running a TST mini poll, simply post your completed ballot in this thread (or PM me if you're ashamed of your own opinion) to take part. I'll be sharing my own ballot if I ever get time to actually fill it in.
Currently this is only for wooden coasters, which are still a relatively rare breed in Europe. Hopefully a similar steel poll will emerge at some point, but as there's more than 10 times as many steel coasters worldwide it seems unlikely that someone will go to the effort to create a full ballot for them.
