Nemesis: 21st Anniversary

I've just seen the 'NEME21S COMING SOON' facebook post. Anyone have any ideas as to what it could be?

Indeed...

Could be interesting, could be nothing!

:)

New signage is all I'm expecting, alongside the already seen merch.

The blood rivers are currently not red because of environmental issues :( - which is very sad indeed.

I am expecting a special event, really.

I've heard rumours of backwards trains, unlikely. I think this would take more from the ride than give it anything.
I have to agree myself I'm just expecting to see some new merch and signage, maybe some special offers who knows.

Nice photoshop work there ;)

Special event probably (for VIP Pass holders with more money than sense and who like to parade around wearing them around their necks on their VIP Lanyards like they own the place) ;)

Not photoshopped Gary! I saw it with my own two eyes, someone's received their P45 today I hear...

I believe they're the new Neme21s T-shirts that are being sold to tie in with the anniversary...

Phew...

On 26th March, Alton Towers Resort will celebrate Nemesis’ 21st birthday and we’d like you to join us. With talks from both John Wardley (the creator of Nemesis) and Andy Hine MBE (Chairman of the Roller Coaster Club of Great Britain) as well as a chance to ride the ride once the Theme Park has closed, it will be an event not to be missed!

Places are extremely limited so please tell us why you should be part of the Nemesis celebrations! Share your best stories with us at [email protected]

Sounds like it will be a free event with Towers picking those who attend.

But yes, I highly doubt there is anything else that John Wardley can add that hasn't been said or written elsewhere on numerous occasions!

:)

I agree that from all the interviews / lectures we have seen from Wardley, he does seem to repeat himself a bit. However, there are always going to be people that haven't heard it before.

I would be interested to know what Andy Hine could have to say that anyone would want to hear. "I'm a geek like you and I've been on more coasters than you"?
