Yes, it's that time of year again - Gay Christmas Eurovision is on the way! It's the UK selection tonight on BBC Two at 7:30. All our entries this year are from people who have appeared on The X Factor in one way or another. Whilst it's true that they're all 'X Factor rejects', I think it's a little bit unfair to use that term in a pejorative sense. I've listened to all our entries, and if I'm honest, they're all...okay. I don't think any of them will win Eurovision at all, and we'll probably be stuck at the lower end of the right hand side of the scoreboard come the final on May 13th. It's quite hard to pick an entry that stands out from the rest, but that's partly because none of them sound all that great. The two that I'd call the 'least worst' are probably Salena Mastroianni's 'I Don't Wanna Fight' and Danyl Johnson's 'Light Up the World'. On tonight's show (which is at the Hammersmith Apollo), The Vamps will be performing their new single 'All Night'. Oh, and there'll be a special appearance from the 2009 Eurovision winner for Norway, Alexander Rybak, performing 'Fairytale'. Even eight years on from that, he still looks so young! It's like he hasn't aged a bit! Anyway, let's just hope we don't do as diabolically bad as we have in the past few years, eh?
