TS Blackpool Summer Spectacular: Saturday, 29th July 2017

Yep was a good meet. Actually talked to people. Even if 90% of the time they had a drink in their hand. :p
Still much fun and ended up with a 14 ride count so not going to complain at that :)

Well, what else is there to do at BPB? :p All the best meets are just glorified pishups these days. I, for one, am rather proud of my intake over the last 48 hours. Spent just about every waking moment consuming booze from when we arrived Friday afternoon. Even squoze in a final pint at The Velvet this morning before we got the train.

I had a lovely weekend, I adore the Blackpool meet as it's the only one I can get to easily and cheaply lol Although the amount I spent on alcohol and food could have gotten me to London and back

Lovely to see everyone again and some new faces. Tried my first Breakdance on South Pier 'thanks' to @Sammy but never again :tired: at least I've tried the infamous ride now.

I think the most memorable/annoying moment was

:tearsofjoy:

I have some pics on my phone that I'll upload when I'm at home

That Breakdance was the only downer of the whole weekend. I've had more extreme rides on the Victoria line. On those settings, it was NOT worthy of the Breakdance name.

I was more than happy for the supposed crap setting :D

Pfff, we need to get you on reakdance No1. On full Dussledörf settings. After spending all day in the beer tent.

Not if Diogo has anything to do with it. ;)

I'm just not a spiny or swinging flat ride person sadly. I can do 360 spinners such as Slammer, Top Spins and Pandemonium, I can even stomach a waltzer but stuff like Maelstrom, Breakdance or anything else like that just makes me ill. :(

Yeah, it's one of only two rides to make me feel ill. The first was a KMG Experience, which made me feel mildly uncomfortable, I've been on other Modial Shakes that were just "meh" .... And then Commander happened..... (ask @Ian)

Clearly hadn't ridden it or your posts would be deleted as pure lies Slappy.

On topic, how bad has Nash really got in comparison to say Ulty and Mouse?
