2018: Mutiny Bay Courtyard Refurbish and New F&B Outlet

Hopefully Towers will start some menu teasers in the build up to the start of the season! I cannot wait for opening day, a ride on Wiker Man followed by some smoked meat and beer; Towers will be like a new theme park!

Agreed, would be fantastic if they had a few mini-fire effects around the entrance or on top to link it to Wicker Man, or indeed had a few Klugheim smoke effects from the roof.

But yes indeed, I'm sure progress has been solid on the inner-Courtyard construction phase and it's merely a matter of weeks until we start to see theming going up on the outer building.

I hate to be the moaning vegetarian but please ensure we’re catered for.... not Merlin’s strong point.

This is the menu for the Smokehouse at Chessington:

I'd imagine the menu at Towers will be the same or very similar, in which case it is not ideal for vegetarians. But I suppose that would require spending more precious money on additional stock, and Merlin would hate for you to have a good choice! :p

The latest aerial photos of Wicker Man showed that The Welcoming is still standing in the Courtyard however. Hopefully they will get a move on soon with only 2 months until opening. Unless of course they are going to open it later in the season like they did for RCR. I really cannot wait for it though!

:)

The gardens are overgrown. Go graze on something.
All aboard the banter bus

Quite. If I’m not in the mood for a salad I fear I’ll be sat in Explorers on my own FaceTiming the kids.

Haha. “We’ve taken out some non-core characters”
Seriously though, who would actually look at that menu and think "Yes that looks good, let's go to print with that", you'd bounce it back to whoever made it with "Have you ever actually used money? Put the bloody 0s on you muppet"

It really wouldn't surprise me if some marketing company has said something like 'people are 10% more likely to buy food from a menu with less digits as it gives the impression of a cheaper product'.

They're just trying to be trendy, lots of posh restaurants do this. Really posh ones write the price out in full "thirty-six pounds"
