I can imagine Twisted National would be quite the ride, but I personally think that Grand National has a little too much heritage to be RMC'd.
Apparently it's not possible to RMC any of the Pleasure Beach is Woodies because they don't have proper foundations in order to convert.

It would need to be a complete replacement rather than a conversion.

As far as I'm concerned RMC can stay as far away from Pleasure Beach as possible!

Ah right OK. Thanks @Spin-Ride-Lover!

I personally reckon that a ground-up RMC woodie or a single rail coaster could be good at BPB, but I certainly wouldn't want any of the vintage woodies converted, personally!

God bless you shakey, and little tremble.
But this time, as you are well aware, I was telling a big Lancastrian fib.
Just for fun.
Like the ride staff do to me all the time.
Like I thought with Icon...It's gonna be a woodie.

Excellent. One can easily recreate the ride experience of the Nash at the present with a sledgehammer and a willing volunteer "assuming the position." The space could be so much better utilised, let's hope as @Matt N says as with Twisted Colossus there's a mysterious fire and it just has to be bulldozed.

As it is listed, if there was a "mysterious fire", the ride would have to be rebuilt...using traditional methods.
There are big penalties for arson, even where you own the land and structures on it...and further big financial penalties for deliberate damage to a listed structure.
Rough as it is, it ain't going nowhere soon.
Dippy is the seat expert here, you can get a reasonably decent ride if you sit in the front half on a non wheel seat.
You shouldn't have to admittedly, but it does make a big difference.
