This is something I've been thinking about for ages, what cities across the world don't really have a theme park of their own? I can think of a couple.
Houston - Population 2 Million +
The 4th largest City lacks a major theme park ever since the closure of Astroworld in 2005. The closest parks are in San Antonio. However this is scheduled to change with the new Grand Texas Theme Park (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_Texas_Theme_Park) but until then...
Berlin - Population 6 Million +
Germany's capital and one of the biggest cities in Europe. Use to have Spreepark which has been SBNO since 2002. The closest "decent" park is Majaland Kownaty in Poland and Belantis and Freizeitpark Plon aren't that far, but it doesn't have a theme park in the same way London and Paris do.
Those are two I can think off the top of my head but there is surely more.
