Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach: General Discussion

Glad Evolutions gone TBH but the flume has surprised me as its pretty iconic as you walk up the seafront towards PB and seeing it. Overall I don't really rate PB but maybe that's due to the fact I only live about 10 mins away.

I remember visiting Gt Yarmouth PB and Joyland as a kid and I loved it. Apart from the scenic railway (and the snails at joyland) I don't think they are as good as they used to be, but then again since visiting Alton and Blackpool, I think I've been spoilt. I live only 1 hour away and I visit Gt Yarmouth on a regular basis, especially during the summer

Apparently the snails are having work done to them, this could only be a lick of paint mind you but i walked past couple of days and there's a lot of activity in joyland.

I visited Yarmouth yesterday. We notice that where the big wheel stood in the pleasure beach gardens, they were installing a new pay to ride attraction (no wrist bands allowed on this one). They have renamed the small area to Jurassic gardens.

Was at Yarmouth again yesterday, we witness the T-rex coming to life along with roar sound effects

However, judging by the lack of queues to ride it, and we did see one car go around (dead slow) it does look a bit meh

More themeing has gone up, this time the grand entrance. I wonder if those fire light up of a night?

Complete with the Jurassic Park film music

It's a start... I guess? :D

Off topic: All this time I've been trying to work out what sort of name "Royjess" is, but after seeing your YouTube name I finally figured it out

Just call him Joyless, like I do behind his....
...Erm, I mean, "how much copywrite infringement can one park make‽ I Think we need to tip off universal."
:D

Looks like the Pleasure Beach is getting a new ride, looks very similar to what they had a couple of years ago, but a bit faster
