I think deleting forums is not necessary (there are some old topics that are quite interesting or could become relevant again if a park announces a new ride), perhaps we could have an archive of topics not posted in for more than a year. In which case, General discussion would only be four pages long and European Parks and Attractions would be six pages long.

I've got to admit, I do often like to read through old topics as I find them quite interesting! So I'm not sure if deleting them is overly necessary, as the topics that are relevant to current discussion are all on the front pages.

A sub-folder for the coaster polls probably would be good just to tidy those threads away as sometimes they dominate the Euro board.

Sorry for the delayed reply but having been away, being thrown straight into work and having man flu I'm only just catching up!

Anyway, with the forum being quieter than it used to be, pretty much every "active" topic appears on the first page of each sub forum as it is, so I don't see a real need to start splitting down topics into even further sub forums. Sure you'll come back to a lot of posts after being away for two weeks, however those posts are concentrated into a relatively small number of topics. For example, the first page of topics in Rest Of The World goes way back to 24th November with thee IAAPA topic, European Attractions goes back to 25th December with the Plopsaland topic.

I see people's point on the coaster poll topics, but they're not really pushing down active discussion as mentioned above and they only really occur over a relatively short period of time during the quieter closed season anyway.

While looking through the site, I did notice that The World of David Walliams and its attractions are listed as having opened on 21st March 2020, despite the park having been closed yesterday:

While I'm at it, I did also notice that Wicker Man is still listed as having opened on 17th March 2018; while it's true that the shop and rethemed outlets around it opened on 17th March, as the park did operate on 17th March, the opening of the actual coaster was delayed to 24th March due to the snow:

Sorry if this comes across as awfully pedantic; I just thought that it would be worth pointing out. I also apologise if these are listed as their respective dates for any particular reason.

EDIT: While I'm at it, would it be worth putting that the Mutiny Bay Burger Kitchen was rethemed for 2018?:

I've amended Wicker Man's opening date to 20th March as it opened midweek to guests with the opening 'event' being postponed to the weekend after.

In terms of the David Walliams attractions, as the area was ready to open we're not amending the date on this now as it's the park that's closed not the attraction's opening delayed. As we don't have a specific opening date yet, this will be amended once the park commences operations again.

Ah right, so Walliams will be amended when the park reopens. Thanks for the clarification @Craig!

This may exist already but I can't find it. Is it possible to hide a thread from appearing in the "New posts" screen?
