First two hour queue of the day at 8.50 am!!!
Don't panic, the local barbers queue looked very funny indeed.
Empty shop two doors along had a big sign, queue one hour from here.

Not a good start today unfortunately, due to the weather conditions most of the coasters are closed. Out of Towers control though obviously. Hopefully the weather will improve soon!

Currently, everything in the thrill section barring Enterprise, Nemesis and Wicker Man is open, with queues ranging from 25 to 60 minutes!

It would appear that the stage on Towers Street is due to house some sort of Sir Algenon-related show, as some of his friends are greeting guests on Towers Street now:

I think Darwin the Dodo and Eric the Yeti are Sir Algenon-related, anyway; do correct me if I’m wrong on that...

Alton Towers have just published a new blog and the downloadable version of this year's park map if anyone wants a closer look.

The blog mentions some further accessibility changes, especially in Gloomy Wood, which now has an accessible toilet and new ramps for Duel. Also the Garden Centre in the conservatories is remaining open for now.

If that is the version on the web its a bit weird, as states you are at Blade.

I really feel sorry for Alton Towers currently, they've clearly put a lot of effort into this year and then we get freak weather leading to late openings of many of the big rides and some not very happy people on social media.

Thankfully, the weather gremlins appear to be easing now, as aside from things that were supposed to be closed anyway (indoor attractions), the only rides currently closed are Mixtape and Nemesis!

Sorry for double posting, but we now have video footage of Roller Disco in operation courtesy of TowersStreet:

Thoughts?

Does anyone know if there's staff spinning you on Roller Disco or if they're just letting it spin itself - if the latter is the case I might actually give them a go :tearsofjoy:

Now you've said that, maybe I will. :tearsofjoy:
Although it also depends how fast the platform spins a well.
Watching the video again I've just noiced that they forgot to cover up the big "Waltzer" sign on the op cabin :tearsofjoy:
