TV Alerts Thread (Theme Parks)

Alton Towers: A Rollercoaster Year is on Channel 4 tonight at 10:15pm :)

Thorpe park was on TOWIE tonight and also a couple of weeks ago. They were trying a record attempt on colossus by correctly naming as many cities from around the world for the duration of the ride. On next week episode, they will find out if they broken the world record. You can catch up on the episodes on ITV Hub.

Disclaimer, I personally don't watch TOWIE, it was on in the background as Jess watches it.

This is no excuse, your reputation is now in tatters.

I rather stick pins in my eyes than watch that crap! I've got no idea who the actors are on the program.

I've been told by my good wife that they did break the world record.

For those of you that missed it, last weekend ITV In For A Penny was filmed in Blackpool and you get to see Stephen riding Icon, other than that, not much footage of the pleasure beach

Josie Gibson will be at Alton Towers today on ITV "This Morning" around 11.40am

If you miss it, you can watch it again at 12.40 on ITV + 1 or on ITV hub

I can confirm that Josie Gibson rode Oblivion this morning Live on air. The ride was empty apart from one member of staff. The car shuttle was kitted out with a onboard camera facing Josie as well as POV. All the other shuttles were empty and there were no waiting for her on the brake run. The ride looks like it was closed to the public. The RAP queue line could be seen to have a small amount of people waiting.

I think I hear it right, she said that she would be at Legoland Windsor on Wednesday and ending up at Thorpe park the end of the week (I presume Friday). So keep your eyes peeled if you are on the parks or watching ITV this morning this week.

I'm sure that these video clips will also appear on Youtube

Wouldn't wish Legoland and Thorpe this week on anyone

I think someone should have told her that the use of phones and cameras are not allowed on the rides ;)

And to finish off the week,

Josie Gibson on ITV "This Morning" riding Colossus at Thorpe Park. I just don't understand why they are still plugging the worlds first 10 looping rollercoaster. That record has now been beaten a few times

You "beat" being the worlds first something.
So the record for most inversions has been beaten, but colossus remains the worlds first.
Same as Oblivion is still the worlds first vertical drop rollercoaster even though 13 more have now been opened.

Well it was the 'World's First This Morning Segment Fully Dedicated To Infusing Morning TV With Colossus'.
