Quick Questions

@Matt N if you are getting this info from the restrictions pages on the app don’t bother, it’s riddled with errors and isn’t worth your time looking at them, because by and large, it’s wrong.
Yes, these are from the app. I also noticed that all the max chest sizes are in cm as opposed to inches.

Is the website more accurate? I’ve noticed that most of the restrictions on the app seem to be right; it’s just the odd few that confused me a bit.

I was literally just scrolling through the app out of curiosity; I’m not worried about any particular restriction.

I can confirm, my other half is around 6'3 so pushing the height limits and not once has he been stopped or measured. On the other hand, when I was much younger (12/13) and I was below the 1.4 metre restriction I was measured on every single ride, even the ones where the restrictions weren't as enforced (Rapids, Hex, Ripsaw)

I completely think it's hit or miss, depends on who you have on the day guarding the rides. I was let through a few times when I was a couple of inches under the restriction when I was younger, it's hit or miss in my opinion.

Why is there even a maximum height on Spinball and Thirteen? Is the safety envelope really that tight that somebody over 1.95m would breach it?

It might be to do with restraints as well; I certainly know that with my dad being over the height, he can often struggle to fit comfortably into certain types of restraint. For example, Rita’s often uncomfortable for him (according to the app and TS’ own Rita page, Rita has a max height restriction of 1.95m).

Amazing thank you !!

Would you say the quickest route to Dark Forest would be straight up past he towers and round the back? I'm getting there for about 9:30 and plan on heading straight the Rita & Th3teen.
Yeah that's the quickest route. I did it first thing a couple of weeks ago. :)
Just be aware that Thirteen doesn't always open on time.

I would go past Battle Galleon's, over the white bridge then left at the kiosk to get to Thirteen through the back entrance to DF. Going past Spinball and the Towers (via "Food Street) or BG route is practically the same in the grand scheme of things. Going through the back entrance to DF to get to Thirteen however saves loads of time.

Sorry I feel like I've asked 101 questions but I've not been in around 2 years so my minds blanked.

How narrow are the seats on the coasters? I usually put my phone in a top pocket but my outfit (I'm a girl, I plan ahead) doesn't have a top pocket, only a side one on my thigh which is tight. I'm just wondering if the room between the side of the seats and where my phone will be in the shorts pocket will be ok and not crushed?

To be on the safe side I wouldn't recommend doing that at all, as most of the coaster seats don't give much room. If you have a bag you're best off putting your phone in there and storing it in the baggage cages, or giving it to a non-rider. :)

I always wear tracksuit bottoms or shorts with zipped pockets and keep my phone in there. I don't keep anything else in the same pocket such as keys or coins that might damage it. When I sit down I just make sure it's not tightly packed between me and the seat. I've never had any problems.

Personally I would not put anything valuable in the storage bins on the station.

Thanks! I agree that putting things in the storage bins has never really been an option for me, too risky. I honestly don't know how people can leave their things with no worry, I was once handed the wrong bag which proved to me how easy it was for someone else to take your belongings.

I have shorts which are skin tight (almost like a cycling shorts material) and the sidepockets are deep and tight, although they have no zip I imagine they'll be fine because they're made for running/jumping about and the added element of being sat down tightens it to my leg.

Hi everyone, if i have fast track tickets booked for a certain date and im unable to attend am i able to alter the date? I know they dont issue refunds.. Thanks!

Yep I speak from experience when I say never do that - especially car keys! A few Scarefests ago, my wife left her bag in Oblivion's cages. Her phone and car keys were in there. Got off the ride, bag gone. Luckily we came with friends who drove too, so at 9pm I went 2hrs back home with them to pick up the spare key for the wife's car, then I drove my car back up to Towers to give her the key then we both drove home. Got home at 6am, 24hrs after originally leaving for the park! Fair play to Towers though, they looked after her and my daughter while I went home - gave her a free room in the hotel with free food and drink for the night.

100%, I came off Th3rteen a few years back and went to collect my bag from the storage part after you've been on the ride and I told the lady behind that it was a 'black bag with baby blue splashes on the strap.'

She literally handed me 2 bags that neither of were mine and went to serve the next person, I could have walked off with both of those bags and everything in them, granted I wouldn't have got my own bag if i hadn't had waited and gave them back, but if you weren't waiting for a bag of your own then it's easily done.

Does anyone have the link to the reserve ticket page for bring a friend pass offer. I've done it before but can't find the page
