Yeah I get that, I just enjoy a moan haha! At least when I'm going on the 17th September it is open until 7pm which gives us more time to queue into the night!
Yeah look I like a moan too and it has caused a few arguments on here already, its all part of the fun!. As for your mates I'm sure they know full well they have too queue and that they are just hoping they don't have too. The best bit of advice I can give is that never don't join a queue because of the estimated time. They are always wrong!

I think early October will be quieter than September as long as it’s outside of half term. People have caught on that September used to be dead and because of this, it no longer is. Plus most students don’t start until right at the end of the month, some even October. Couple this with a lack of international travel and I expect that September will be busy but pleasantly so, as I’m not summer holiday busy but busy enough for an atmosphere. I expect most coaster queues to be between 30-60 minutes, maybe more for The Smiler and Wickerman.
Also, with the staffing issues the park is facing, operations may be affected which results in longer queues regardless of guest numbers.
If you’re serious about avoiding queues, I would recommend getting to the park at 0915 (as I’m through the turnstiles) and heading straight to The Smiler. You’ll be one of the first ones on at 10am. Then go and do Thirteen and Rita (don’t bother with Roller Disco - you’ll have had better Waltzer rides at fun fairs). Then head to FV for Galactica and Nemesis then work your way back through Gloomy Wood, Katanga Canyon and Mutiny Bay. Have lunch, then ride Spinball, potentially buy a fast track for Oblivion, then do whatever else until the end of the day. Make Wickerman your last ride and join the queue at ride close time. It’ll have had all day to warm up and it’ll be running as fast as anything!
We'll be arriving before 9am by taxi from Stoke so I'm still debating whether to start in FV or X-Sector.

Yeah, I think i'm getting a bit obsessed with this app. I've never used it before and now it gives me too much information. Previously I would have just booked an off peak day and rocked up and had a great time. Technology eh?!

30-60 mins is fine but I've still not seen that yet. It seems to be over 60 for everything and I'm getting worried my mates won't put up with it, that's all.

You might wanna find better mates if they are causing you this much stress! I would always go to a theme park expecting some waits to be 30-60 minutes

Both are good options but I would personally go with X Sector, just because The Smiler’s queue is solid from about 1015 onwards. Buying a couple of solo fast tracks isn’t a bad idea either , especially if you’re planning on maximising ride count. Galactica and Oblivion or Spinball are good ones to fast track.

I did the same when I first downloaded the app. Perfectly natural for an enthiast.

Don't whatever you do get there that early just to start at FV. You won't queue long for Nemesis at any time of the day. Galactica is hit and miss, if its on 2 stations it'll be fine but if its on 1 I wouldn't even bother. You HAVE to go to the Smiler first otherwise you'll end up queuing a lot longer than necessary for it. Get there early enough and you'll be one of the first on at 10. Even if you got to the queue at 10 it won't be too bad, maybe 30-40 mins. Go there at any other time and you'll be waiting 60-90 mins for it

Good advice Ethan.

Exactly what I'd say too do at this point in time. Earlier in the year and last year I would have said to go to dark forest first as thirteen was running on limited capacity and Rita's operation horribly slow but now that is irrelevant I'll be doing what @Ethan says although might skip oblivion at the start of the day and do it last as whatever they queue time says it won't get any longer than about 15 minutes. Oblivion's queue is always overstated usually by the most ridiculous amounts which I am convinced (nobody on here agreed with me last time I voiced this opinion) that they do it too sell more fastracks.

Oblivion is normally stupidly overstated on 2 stations. If its on 1 then it could genuinely be more realistic as the operations are dire

I was just going to say that. I took a woose of a mate a few years ago who ended up going on hardly anything because he's an idiot. I didn't let that stop me having fun and left him fannying around ride entrances whilst I took his kids on coasters with me. I won't be taking him again.

Can't really call someone an idiot for not liking rides. This hobby isn't for everyone!

80 mins for Smiler just after 10am. I really think everyone has the same idea about going X-Sector first!
I promise if you get to The Smiler for 0915, you’ll have ridden it by 10:05. It worked for me when I visited and by the time I got to DF at 1015 Rita and Thirteen were only on 10-15 minute waits meaning you can tick off 3 biggies before 11am.

Now that's much more like it. The queues, as expected really, have died off a heck of a lot today compared to yesterday. Hopefully @Jaybomuso this gives you a better idea of what it could be like for the rest of September

Yeah, definitely feeling better about it today. Weather is amazing today as well so gutted I didn’t choose to go today! Only ride I need to get in early for is Smiler basically as every other queue is manageable!
