They have recently undertaken a big recruitment drive. How successful that was remains to be seen, although the signs from F&B availability would suggest not great.
I’ve always found EP to struggle with food queues even pre-Covid and the current limiting if outlets only exasperates that issue.

The place has so many eateries but on busy days you'd still queue for some. Saying that, this past week the park has been "medium" (50 min waits for top rides)... historically that wouldn't have a queue for chips stretching back 20 metres.

Well it is indirect. Is this down to COVID, or are there other issues causing it?
Masses of staff have left because of Covid-19 hospitality shutdown and found jobs elsewhere. Add in current capacity limits and there we go.

Svalgurok is explicitly posted as closed on the Rulantica social media. However it was open on the two days I was at Rulantica this week.
Regarding the food and beverage situation, there was more open on Wednesday than Friday despite Friday being much busier. It's probably related to shift patterns but surprising they don't prioritise the busier days.

So Halloween is over and for the first time the park is staying open uninterrupted until the end of the winter season. The between seasons time now being named Hallowinter where Christmas trees and pumpkins currently co-exist along the pathways.
Fjord Rafting, Atlantica Supersplash, African Queen and Arena of Football have closed for winter. Wildwasserbahn closes this weekend too.
Arena of Football is being renovated as the Adidas sponsorship ends, and for winter it will be home to a pop-up YULLBE GO for park guests in place of the bumper cars.
The usual ice sculptures display will not be taking place this year. Park say they didn’t want to risk the extreme costs involved again like last year. The Erdinger Hütte will also not be set up this winter.

And then they released that heartbreaking video of the sculptures melting

Yeah the wheel is already on site.A real pity that there will be no Erdinger Hütte this winter. I assume the Bellevue is returning?

Whilst the Arena of Football is getting renovated and made a temporary winter home to YULLBE GO, let us please take a moment to respect and appreciate the incredible work that went into this promotional video (aka my absolute favourite Europa-Park video of all time).
