Best Song Ever - In Your Opinion

The Stone Roses - I Am The Resurrection

The Beatles - And Your Bird Can Sing

The Beatles - In My Life

The Beach Boys - I'm Waiting For The Day

Ill go with those ones for now but could nominate at least 20 Beatles tracks.

Everyone loves a music thread … this topic g could go on for ever. There’s always new music ….

Funny though you can tell who the 80’s kids are straight away
All my picks seem to match up with you people from the 80's which is quite interesting. I do definitely prefer older music and I can't stand most current chart music.

My top 3 songs of all time, obviously things like Bohemian Rhapsody absolutely have a right to claim to be the best and as a basic set of lyrics hallelujah is fantastic if over covered. I've chosen what I consider to be the best version of the song.

1. Louis Armstrong - What a Wonderful World

2. Don McLean - Vincent ( Stary Night)

3. John Cale - Hallelujah

good tune. Erasure actually did some good tracks back in the day

am I the only one who thinks this is an instant classic

Yeah and it's actually a decent song, this will be one of those Christmas songs you just expect to hear on the radio and in shops within a few months.

Stunned it took 9 posts to be honest.

Once you have listened to this version multiple times...because beer! You'll never want to listen to it again :D

Cafe Del Mar and Synaesthesia sent me thinking in a different direction for music and these 3 popped back into my brain and playlist.

Members of Mayday - 10 in 01

Brainbug - Nightmare

Amen! UK - Passion

I've just moved this thread from the Courtyard Tavern to the Box Office, where it seems to be more suited. I'm also experiencing a sense of déjà vu...

what was the play list like?
Awesome mate. Pulled into Towers in the beautiful snow with Barbers Adagio for Strings playing and my gorgeous little boy sat next to me enjoying the list as well. Was a great way to start a great day.

Glad your doing the same as my parents and getting me to listen to some proper music. hahaha only joking of course,

Something like:
God Save the Queen by the Sex Pistols, or;
Insomnia by Faithless, or;
Shine on You Crazy Diamond (or possibly Dogs) by Pink Floyd.

I know it's not a banger or anything but this is the only song that has really stuck with me over the years for some reason....
Brian Eno - An ending

In agreement with Tom with Insomnia by Faithless
Wild Horses by The Rolling Stones
Acquiesce by Oasis
Blown Rose by Blossoms

I would say Tenacious D but they are pretty clear its just a tribute!

For me, Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen
