A few month back. I read an essay on the Flintstones. It argued that the Flintstones is set after the Jetsons. Basically, there has been a global disaster in the future and the human race is rebuilding. It has knowledge of previous technological advances. No knowledge or of need for electricity.

It is derived from the name of the mighty God Woden, or Oden. Maybe we should try to push Wodensday into usage? Every day should be a Woden day.
