I still can't get over that a hotdog costs £9 it's got to the point of bugging me now

Remember the towers #pizzaboxgate where towers were absolutely clowned on for the state of that breakfast in a takeaway pizza box, can we get the £9.50 rollover hotdog trending, not that it'll change anything but any place charging that should get shamed for it.
They were around thirty quid at the recent american football match at Wembley, weren't they?
But yes overall, a fiver would be a rip off price for what you get, so £9:50 is double extortion.
You could actually buy a decent flask, a tin of hot dogs, an onion and a bag of Warbies finger teacakes for that money.
...and I already have.

Yeah I was going to say, £9 is cheap compared to prices at London gigs/sports venues where it would get you a box of popcorn.
I always think Footy Scran is a good comparator for this kind of thing. Same kind of area - captive audience and shameless drive to profit. And football ground hot dogs generally look better than a Rollover for almost a tenner.
Not a hot dog but look at this food mountain compared to the AT chicken and chips offerings:

Burgers (and a few fries that cost pennies) are up to £18 now, surely this is similarly offensive. £21 with a drink.
Really annoying they took away the option to buy individual items too. We'd begrudgingly buy a couple of burgers for £10 each but now you HAVE to buy the meal so minimum £36.
"I'm not paying that much for Burger Kitchen 1" etc.
Back in the day, singing "Sex and drugs and sausage rolls" on the way back from the pie shop to the sixth form was all the rage thanks to Mr Dury.
They used to be four for a quid, and they were bloody huge.
Back on topic swiftly, how are the Eastern express kebabs this year.
The queue was just too long on my visit this year.
