I know it takes time for things to grow in, but this just highlights how ugly the site is. Still a tragedy in my eyes that they fumbled the landscaping so terribly.

They should’ve themed it to falling off of a crane at a construction site.

I guess it would be thematically consistent then?

Looked pretty close to stalling yesterday during testing yesterday, 8 mins in. I really hope they've ironed out the issues it was having last season and they can get it open on time every day.

I'm surprised they haven't added a front row queue in the station too (which they said was coming later last season) surely that would be really easy to implement?

Hyperia has an issue and hasn't opened this morning - engineers are currently disassembling something at the bottom of the lift hill with an array of spanners. They were sending trains earlier but it kept estopping, until finally it made a rather undesirable noise

Just left towers after a great couple days although opening weekend sounded like it was shambles.
Hyperia has been a disaster since opening it's just something after the other and it's definitely going to valley again soon just a matter of how many times this season, really expected better from mack and I'm sure thorpe did too.

Just to confirm Hyperia didn't open all day. They did issue a fastrack after evacing the queue at the start of the day, but with the amount given out, I suspect it would've caused chaos.

The engineers, to their credit, tried continuously with various parts coming off or being adjusted at the bottom of the lift, but it would last a few laps before doing the same fault.

Unfortunately, operations elsewhere in the park were poor with a lot of rides down. I assume this is because there were at least 5 engineers dealing with Hyperia

£120 to climb Hyperia, and you have to have already completed another coaster climb within the last 3 years.

£120 is a lot but no doubt they will sell out.

Maybe they can use the money on fixing the splashdown, building a front row queue and adding a helix and extra airtime hill to the ride.

It's good that Oblivion is included for those up North who can't get to Thorpe much.

I’ve climbed higher structures that Hyperia - mountains - think I’m qualified to climb up a lift hill.

Just seems odd. I’m sure all the relevant h&s will be in place so not sure experience counts
