[2024] Voltron Nevera | Mack Stryker Coaster

Had about 30 rides on Voltron...one that wasn`t enjoyable at all (very shaky)...one that was mediocre (rattly in some places)....and the rest was pure joy. There are so many good things about the ride that I absolutely love it despite the rattle-issue. And I`m optimistic that those rattly rides will be even less or totally gone with the beginning of the next season. Hopefully :)

Hate to complain, but those coils playing the Voltron theme will forever be etched into my psyche after this summer. I hope these temporary changes don't last too long, as I don't really think the ACE theme fits in there anywhere near as well as the original.

Was lucky enough to return to Europa this week, was anticipating the rail work they've done over winter to have helped solved the issues but if anything some of the trains are worse. It's such a good ride when you're on the rare decent train but some are now unpleasant with train 7 being utterly crap. Not sure if it's a bearing issue like some B&Ms or the trains are flapping slightly like (but nowhere near as bad as) Baco

I doubt they are any worse than last year; the bottom line is the ride is not as smooth as you would hope for a modern, Mack coaster. It was the same on day 1 and it's the same now - total pot luck.

I was not aware of any 'rail work' going on unfortunately?

Unfortunately, in spite of Mack's efforts with bracing on these trains, it seems that trains with wing seats are rarely, if ever, going to be as smooth as regular trains. It's science, I guess. Add in the fact that Voltron is also a very intense coaster, and you have a recipe for these issues.
