Blackpool Pleasure Beach: 2025 Discussion

It would appear so:
Me thinks very few people who stay at the Ritz log onto <insert random made up award> website to vote. My wife often stays at the Four Seasons in London (overlooking the Tower). I'm sure the Boulevard Hotel would also welcome her by name, already have her pillow and duvet selection in her room, and know her dietary requirements.

Nothing wrong to be the best you can, but seriously?? As LoadsaMoney might say "How many Michelin stars have you got, eh??"

Well that would make it the best hotel in blackpool also . Personally it’s way above anything else in blackpool .
Does being the (arguably) best hotel in Blackpool make you the best hotel in northern Europe though, as claimed on the promotional flags on the stilt road?
Rather unlikely, especially so when there are a number of vastly superior hotels before you get back to the M6!.

And more on topic, weekday opening, about time.
Just get those kids back to school.

Over 2,000 nominees and over 300,000 people voted, if those hotels near the M6 were that good they would of won

It’s all personal opinion at the end of the day . My nan loves lytham .
My brother lives there and we often stay! Not cheap - and great restaurants - but keeps the riff-raff out. But if you're trying to attract the big spenders, why not offer a "curated hosted trip" like Disney do - far more history in BPB. FOLP, behind the scenes, etc.

And a decent sit-down lunch option

Interesting to see that BPB have sold the RCCGB a Grand National ERT on Sunday 27th April 2025. Can only assume this means the ride will be reopen by then!

Not necessarily they were supposed to have the big dipper on ert during its 100th anniversary season and it was still undergoing refurbishment and thus the ert was moved to a different coaster.

Completely forgot to mention they'd updated the River Caves refurbishment sign to correctly say Van Gogh.

Controversial, I think the park is making the right decisions this year. BPB has so many rides, it must cost a fortune to operate the place, and those super-quiet off-peak days must be very painful for the park (especially with the upcoming NI increases). With the confirmed ride SBNOs, they have made the right decisions; they must now focus on reopening the classics like River Caves.

I think the giant Gyro Swing is the perfect ride for BPB. I think Icon (while a good ride) was hard to market to the GP and overall has been unsuccessful compared to Wicker Man at AT.

They need to get better at communicating, though.
