Camelot - gone for good?

Interesting series here of a permission visit to the Camelot site. Lots of effort to line up shots for before/after pictures. Worth a watch in my opinion :)

Yeah was good to see that some of the original buildings is still there.
That Venom coaster looked rubbish but I 1st remember seeing the park when I saw it on the coach to Blackpool and seeing this park map in the service station.
Took another 5 years to I managed to get to the park and only went again in 2007.

At this point, wouldn't it be more like "theme park rebuilding" rather than "theme park reopening" in Camelot's case given that pretty much nothing remains?

I am wondering, though; is Kynren within a 2 hour commute of Liverpool? I'm wondering if "North East" is a typo... it also seems odd to have a picture of Camelot in there if Kynren is the attraction in question.

I certainly did not have Camelot potentially being rebuilt on my 2025 bingo card, anyhow...

...Camelot ain’t ever reopening, period....
Absolutely.
Christ there are some optimistic thoosies out there.
Zero useful infrastructure left, at an unpopular theme park, completely derelict, where the owners still hope to build housing...in a highly desirable area.
Charnock Richard is roughly an hour from Liverpool, not two.
Camelot had a lingering slow death, because it was pretty crap after a single visit experience.

More chance of Knightmare going to Southport!
