Yeah was good to see that some of the original buildings is still there.
That Venom coaster looked rubbish but I 1st remember seeing the park when I saw it on the coach to Blackpool and seeing this park map in the service station.

Indeed, the comments seem to suggest the reference to the North East is an error, but I have no idea if that is the case .

Surely it’s far more likely to be Kynren - the reference to Liverpool is probably based on the search preferences of whoever screenshotted that recruitment site.

Camelot ain’t ever reopening, period.

At this point, wouldn't it be more like "theme park rebuilding" rather than "theme park reopening" in Camelot's case given that pretty much nothing remains?

I certainly did not have Camelot potentially being rebuilt on my 2025 bingo card, anyhow...

Attraction Source have merged an old picture of Camelot with the job ad; there are no photos at all on the job ad itself.

The recruitment agency lists the job as being in County Durham, so this appears to be for the upcoming Kynren Storied Lands

Interestingly, the listing mentions 'ride maintenance' but there's no plans for rides at Kynren?

Probably unrelated but the Camelot website has also recently been reactivated - exactly as it was from 2012. Weird!

Absolutely.
Christ there are some optimistic thoosies out there.
Zero useful infrastructure left, at an unpopular theme park, completely derelict, where the owners still hope to build housing...in a highly desirable area.
Charnock Richard is roughly an hour from Liverpool, not two.
Camelot had a lingering slow death, because it was pretty crap after a single visit experience.

I'd looove to see Camelot reopen, but as as been stated above, nothing left on the site is in any fit state to be of actual use. It really is a build from the beginning type project if it is to reopen.
