Food & Beverage: The Aramark Era begins

Some people just like knowing its pre-paid. So they can spend £50 per person when booking the hotel and then not worry about how much lunch & dinner will actually cost them.
I could see this, especially with business getaway trips being able to get an invoice, or at the least being able to pre paid without requiring a company card or keeping receipts, making it much easier to organise and requires much less interaction with finance departments even if it is more expensive for the company

For corporate events there already are packages and vouchers available https://www.altontowers.com/conferences-and-events/packages/

People might buy it, but will they be happy....? My guess is the saving will be minimal than "a la carte". The lack of a Freestyle cup on any plan is strange - especially given no-one buys Freestyle cups for every member or a group (or maybe I'm just brought up as a tight northerner).

I can't personally see much value in any of the plans compared to "pay as you go". Certainly if you're staying at the hotels you already have deep pockets!

I reckon they are desperate with spending down the less people use Aramark food the more likely they'll make a change

Last time I visited the park, we left around lunchtime after a lazy morning riding just a few attractions) visited the Talbot Inn and had an amazing Sunday Roast sat outside in the sunshine. It was glorious.

Sooo peaceful, you'd never think you were sat less than a mile from a major theme park!

Best time to do that is during Scarefest, where you can do mazes during the early parts of the day and night rides

Any other pubs near AT that you would recommend? Visiting for my birthday in a couple weeks and want to have an actually decent birthday meal offsite after park close!
