Ride Availability/Operations 2022-25

Spinball doesn’t run in any rain for some bizarre reason but for TH13TEEN it’s just when it’s very heavy rain now (I believe). Hex been closed since about 10:20 which backs up my earlier point
 
Spinball is crazy on a day like today when it's drizzling, according to staff they have to close on the first drops of rain and can't open for at least 15 mins after rain has finished. It's opening the queue for a few minutes at a time.
 
spinball is odd, as at the start of the season this rule was in place. Then as far as I know it went back to the old ways, then more recently it’s gone back to just closing completely in the rain.

As for Hex that was up and down all the time yesterday, we attempted to ride it three times and as we got near the towers it would be closed, we even joined the queue at one point and it shut. But did it did always open in the end.

I mean it is very dependent. Black Buccaneer could skid on the tyres if it was raining especially hard and needing to stop running as a result.

Spinball closing at the first sign of rain is VERY Cedar Fair though. That it was down for most of Saturday given very few real downpours was so weird to me given previous years.

Spinball issues is the brake runs are too short so when it rains there have been incidents of trains not stopping.

Is it possible the wheels are the same dimension. I don't what the Diameter of each wheel is with Th13teen and Spinball
 
Hex didn’t open at all yesterday from what I could see when I was there. The rain killed off a few rides for a bit as expected. Heave Ho went down in the afternoon as well. Galactica was up and down as it does. Sky ride was running though :)

I was there yesterday afternoon as well, and I finally saw it was open on the app at 4.50pm, after I gave up hope for it to reopen and went to the other side of the park instead

I’m back for the behind the scenes tour tomorrow, so I hope availability is better then!
